UltraLock Plus

Used both onshore and offshore in high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) environments, UltraLock Plus™ premium-performance wellbore sealant is a dry, latex-based sealant designed for use with freshwater, brine-based aqueous fluids, and nonaqueous fluids (NAFs). This specially formulated additive can be incorporated into both conventional and high-performance water-based fluids as well as NAFs to improve fluid loss and wellbore stability. UltraLock Plus sealant enhances wellbore stability by reducing filtrate and whole mud invasion, while also minimizing fluid loss in HPHT conditions. It effectively seals nanopermeability, low-permeability and microfractured formations in environments with bottomhole temperatures (BHTs) above 300 degF [149 degC]. For optimal results, this innovative additive should be initially added at a concentration between 3 to 5 lbm/bbl, depending on the specific application conditions.
