minus

The battery-operated coiled tubing (CT) memory intervention data (MIND) tool records high-frequency data downhole without a cable. It provides data for insights into job and tool performance to improve operational strategy and efficiency.

  • Battery operated
  • Designed to measure multiple parameters
  • Rated for high-shock and high-vibration environments

Customized settings record targeted data

A stand-alone computer utility configures the CT MIND tool after the installation of batteries. The tool connects to the toolstring, operates independently, and stores the desired data in memory during the operation. Various triggers (e.g., time-based, value‑based) can initiate recording at specific times during an operation. When the CT MIND tool returns to surface, the user connects a special cable to download the recorded downhole data.

Wide range of sensors captures vital data

The CT MIND tool measures

  • axial load
  • torque
  • annular pressure
  • annular temperature
  • accelerations (three axes).
