No-go design reduces deployment and recovery times

The standing valve of Peak Family™ flow control and well intervention tools enables maximum throughbore within a drillstem test (DST) string. Differing from a standing valve that locks into a nipple profile, the Peak Family standing valve has a sit‑on, no‑go design that tests the integrity of tubing connections and downhole equipment situated above the standing valve. With a no‑lockout feature, the wireline and toolstring remain attached to the standing valve during pressure test operations, minimizing both deployment and recovery times. The standing valve is designed to fit any standard top no‑go or bottom no‑go profile nipple with a sealbore.

  • Available for all sizes of SIM™ sealing integrity management system plugs
  • Adaptable to other nipple seal profiles as needed

Equalizing and fishing features provide easy recovery

The standing valve is a ball seat check valve that enables fluid to pass from below with a spring‑on‑ball design, which is suitable for high‑deviation applications. In the event of significant hydrostatic head after testing is complete, the tool features an integral equalizing design for recovery on slickline. A standard rope socket fishing neck enables running and recovery on standard pulling tools; no special running tool is required.
