Metris Eclipse™ B-annulus PT monitoring system provides high-precision data in real time to help reduce well integrity risks. Early identification of potential issues enables timely interventions that enhance safety and minimize downtime. The system complies with IWIS standards, ensuring seamless integration into subsea control system infrastructures.
The Metris Eclipse system leverages field-proven inductive coupler technology to provide seamless and reliable subsea B-annulus monitoring.
Slip-on design
The slip-on design of the inductive couplers maintains full tubing and casing integrity. Mounted on the exterior of the production casing, the gauge is connected to a female inductive coupler that is slipped over the casing OD and accurately spaced out below the casing hanger. A male inductive coupler is slipped over the production tubing and spaced out to the tubing hanger. The predetermined space-out enables direct landing of the tubing and casing hangers without need for rotation or additional space-out operations.
Wireless communication
Inductive coupler technology enables wireless transmission of power and data between the gauge and surface systems, ensuring continuous real-time monitoring without compromising the structural integrity of the well. This innovative setup streamlines installation, making it an ideal solution for complex subsea wells.
Bypass-channel integration
A bypass channel in the tubing-mounted inductive coupler enables multiple hydraulic and electric lines to pass through, providing compatibility with various well completion architectures.
The Metris Eclipse system is fully compliant with industry standards for subsea instrumentation. It is compatible with SLB electric interval control valves (eICVs) and all Metris™ permanent monitoring systems for enhanced data analysis and visualization; a single electric line is required to install all.
