SLB, in cooperation with TGS, announces the expansion of our ultralong offset, Elastic full-waveform inversion (EFWI) ocean-bottom node (OBN) multiclient programs in the US Gulf of Mexico.

Engagement 5 acquisition commences in June 2024, covering approximately 172 outer continental shelf (OCS) blocks connecting our existing Engagement and Amendment programs. This new program will enable us to provide contiguous ultralong-offset EFWI data for almost 1,000 OCS blocks, from Green Canyon through to Mississippi Canyon.

SLB continues to build on its industry-leading Engagement FWI workflows. SLB processing of Engagement 5 incorporates EFWI at a regional scale, delivering unprecedented insights into this highly prospective location.

SLB will deliver the first FWI images from this new project in Q4 2024, with final products available in Q4 2025.
