Mozambique Enlightenment Project
~25,000 km of broadband 2D seismic data
Explore high-resolution depth imaging to improve your subsurface understanding offshore Mozambique.
2D and 3D seismic data covering the whole of offshore Mozambique
broadband 2D data from 2013 with infill 2D data acquired in 2018
reprocessed legacy surveys across the Zambezi Shelf and 25,000 km of ongoing reprocessing as part of the Mozambique Enlightenment project
broadband 3D data acquired across Angoche Basin
Schlumberger, in collaboration with the National Petroleum Institute (INP) of Mozambique, holds an extensive 2D and 3D seismic data library covering all basins offshore Mozambique. Available to license, this seismic data highlights and illustrates the hydrocarbon potential of the margin, which is a proven prolific hydrocarbon province.
The library of more than 110,000 km includes broadband 2D data acquired in 2013, further infilled with 2D data from 2018. Various legacy surveys (24,000 km) across the Zambezi Shelf have also been reprocessed to maximize the geological understanding of offshore Mozambique. Our high-quality datasets and extensive coverage in the region enable deepwater exploration, with 15,000 km2 of broadband 3D seismic data acquired across Angoche Basin using IsoMetrix marine isometric seismic technology. This 3D seismic data provides a significant improvement in both data quality and coverage to greatly reduce risk.
Our exclusive multiclient data covers more than 110,000 km of 2D and 15,000 km2 of 3D seismic data in frontier areas across all basins and is now available for your applications in the 6th licensing round.
