Product Sheet LUBE BX Field Brine Lubricant
LUBE BX lubricant is designed to reduce the metal-to-metal and metal-to-rock coefficient of friction in produced water and brine fluids.
Field brine lubricant
LUBE BX field brine lubricant is a cost-effective, high-performance lubricant designed to reduce the metal-to-metal and metal-to-rock coefficient of friction in produced water and brine fluids. It decreases torque and drag, thus increasing ROP in water-based drilling fluid, produced water, or brine in highly deviated and horizontal drilling applications.
It is generally recommended to add LUBE BX lubricant at 3% by volume, but specific drilling conditions will dictate a suitable concentration. LUBE BX can be incorporated into the mud system through the mud hopper using no special or additional mixing equipment.
