Reliable jarring performance in high-debris, high-angle, and high-temperature wells

The Peak Family™ hydraulic jar features an inverted upstroke mechanism that ensures uninterrupted performance—even in high-debris environments. When paired with the Peak Family accelerator, linear jar, and WellGlide™ roller-centralizer sub, this hydraulic jar significantly boosts reach and efficiency in high-angle deviated wells. Its innovative inverted latch and jar-rod design minimize debris influx, enhancing overall well intervention performance.

With a minimal number of working components, the Peak Family hydraulic jar is designed for straightforward and efficient field redress, ensuring reliable and consistent operation.

  • High-deviation wireline and slickline operations
  • High-debris environments
  • High-temperature wells
  • Reduces debris influx and increases performance in high-debris environments
  • Improves impact force and reduces stem spacing requirements
  • Minimizes internal corrosion risks with hard chrome plating on critical components
  • Ensures consistency and accuracy of firing times
  • Provides flexibility with multiple connection options to meet application requirements
  • Excels in high-temperature wells up to 392 degF [200 degC]

Effective debris diversion, enhanced intervention performance

The Peak Family hydraulic jar is engineered with its internal components positioned in the upper section of the assembly, effectively reducing debris influx during the upstroke. Unlike conventional hydraulic jars, any debris that enters the outer housing is directed to the bottom of the tube, away from essential working parts.
