Optimized performance in debris-laden environments

The Peak Family™ power jar is engineered to enhance tool performance in challenging, debris-laden environments. Its inverted upstroke design reduces debris intrusion, protecting internal components and enabling consistent, high-efficiency operations. This tool’s design delivers extended lifespan and minimizes downtime, managing common issues with conventional spring jars in well intervention and flow control.

  • Available with all standard industry connection types to suit customer requirements
  • Inverted latch and jar rod reduces debris influx in high-debris environments
  • Increased mass above the jar rod improves impact force and reduces amount of stem
  • Opposable button-locking mechanism enables precise jar adjustment even while connected in the toolstring
  • Dual spring stack provides controlled impact at lower jar settings

Efficient upstroke mechanism

Unlike traditional spring jars, the Peak Family power jar places its critical internal components in the upper assembly. This design prevents debris from accumulating around working parts during operation. As debris falls away from essential components, this configuration ensures reliable performance, even in high-angle or deviated wells, where debris management is crucial.

Enhanced durability and usability

The Peak Family power jar integrates dual-roller system for a friction-reduced stroke, boosting operational smoothness and reliability. Combined with Peak Family accelerators, WellGlide™ roller-centralizer subs, and other linear jar tools, it delivers effective conveyance and performance across various well configurations. Additionally, the tool’s dual spring stack, activated only during firing, significantly extends the intervals between maintenance and reduces field downtime.
