Schlumberger has introduced PowerJet Nova extra-deep-penetrating shaped charge that delivers an explosive energy transfer into the perforating jet by use of a rock-optimized charge design that increases penetration in stressed rock. This new charge is applicable in production or injection wells, damaged formations, formations requiring reservoir stimulation, tight and hard rocks, and in all phases of oil, water, and gas. Well productivity and injectivity are increased with formation contact for stimulation treatments and drainage contact for productivity.
