Concrete blue texture
The Hydra-Jar AP jar freed stuck pipe successfully with a fring duration of approximately 50 hours, saving the operator valuable rig time.
For the 12 1/4-in hole section, a drilling jar was added to the BHA should the drillstring become stuck. Schlumberger recommended a Hydra-Jar AP double-acting hydraulic drilling jar, which is balanced to hydrostatic pressure through ports open to the wellbore, ensuring consistent hitting performance regardless of downhole pressure changes.
