North Sea, Europe, Offshore
Background

An operator was setting a whipstock and then milling a window for a casing exit. From previous experience, they used flowline magnets to manage the ferrous debris created during milling. To validate existing procedures in using only surface equipment to manage ferrous debris, the operator agreed to run the MAGNOSHIELD drillstring magnet as part of early field trials.
