Background

The AquaWatcher Surface water analysis sensor was tested for robustness and the accuracy and repeatability of its water conductivity measurement (NaCl-equivalent salinity determination) and water volume fraction (WVF) detection at three wet gas and multiphase flow facilities.

The more than 300 flow loop test points acquired in a wide variety of flow regimes confirm excellent metrological performance and repeatability over a wide range of gas volume fractions (GVFs) up to 99.95% and within the operating range of the water/liquid ratio (WLR).
