SLB was selected as the 2023 Services Company of the Year at the annual Energy Council Awards of Excellence. The Energy Council is a leading investment networking provider and industry membership body, with more than 100,000 members.

The event was held on Nov. 14 at the World Energy Capital Assembly in London featuring 375 participating companies representing 40 nations. 

The Energy Council Awards recognize and honor the individuals and companies that are at the forefront of first-class deals, value creation and innovation, and that have exceptional financial and operating performance. 

The Energy Council honored SLB for showing strong sector leadership through meaningful energy transition moves, major investments in new energies and a commitment to decarbonization technologies, according to Amy Miller, CEO, Energy Council.

“We also honored SLB for its successful rebranding from Schlumberger, its financial and sustainability performance, and how well they have aligned investor expectations with margin aspirations,” Miller said.

The winners were determined by a committee of industry leaders from across the energy sector who narrowed the finalists down to three distinguished companies including SLB, Proserv and Wood.
