Handwheels
Fabricated for reliability
Our handwheels are suited for use with all of our quarter-turn and multiturn operators, manual overrides, and position indicators. Additionally, handwheels can be fitted to products manufactured by others, or, in some applications, be mounted directly to valve stems.
- 6- to 10-in handwheels are recessed, cast ductile iron
- 12- to 48-in handwheels are manufactured from tubing and available in standard recessed and optional flat configurations as well as in stainless steel
- Tubular handwheels are epoxy powder coated
- Cast handwheels are e-coated
- Additional diameters and interface machining available
Materials
Handwheel rims and spokes are constructed of high-quality 1-in-OD tubing. Handwheel hubs are constructed of cold-rolled carbon steel machined to your specifications.
Note: Use of cheater bars voids warranty. Assembling chainwheels to handwheel rims increases the weight and cantilever length and is not recommended. DYNATORQUE chainwheel adapters are recommended whenever using a chainwheel with a DYNATORQUE product gear. DYNATORQUE product recommends the use of our chainwheel adapters in lieu of handwheels in these applications.
