As wells age, optimizing production and enhance recovery becomes crucial. However, intervening on wells has become more and more challenging. We must work smarter to identify the most suitable intervention solutions to produce the remaining volumes, minimize costs, reduce operational risk, and lower our environmental footprint. Well diagnostics plays a key role in this.
Today, real-time, digital well diagnostics—partly by leveraging autonomous operations—are being used to significantly optimize well intervention. For example, through the Intervention and Stimulation Alliance, the industry’s first autonomous wireline plug setting operation, the first autonomous slickline conveyance operation, and the first autonomous coiled tubing conveyance operation were completed offshore Norway. Learn how the alliance is using digital and autonomous solutions to improve reservoir performance.
