When a casing string has become stuck and cannot be freed when running in the well, options to recover from this can be limited. With the Casing Reconnect system, the casing can be cut anywhere above the stuck point and removed from the well. The system can now be run with the casing hanger correctly spaced out to land in the wellhead, returning integrity to the well with a fully certified V0 metal-to-metal connection.
