The SIMextra™ retrievable bridge plug is a gas-tight, full-expansion plug for temporary zonal isolation. Through its groundbreaking slip-seal cartridge design, the SIMextra plug assures trouble-free conveyance, guaranteed retrieval every time, and an expansion range not previously achievable with conventional sealing technology.

Patented segmented-ring technology enables the SIMextra plug to be set anywhere in the completion where a V0-rated barrier is needed, without requiring a nipple profile. The SIMextra plug can be set in one run using industry-standard setting tools and any conveyance method. Once at depth, the seal expands and energizes to provide a reliable seal in environments up to 300 degF and 10,000 psi.

With an integrated junk catcher, the SIMextra plug offers simple, single-run equalization and retrieval and incorporates a mechanical fail-safe that prevents slips retraction before equalization is initiated.
