Designed for pressure containment as part of the tubing string
Our versatile B-Series subsurface safety valve landing nipples feature a lock recess, a
hydraulic communication port located between the two polished bores, and an integral control line connection port.
They are designed for compatibility with most premium threads and can
be used with either API standard-weight or non-API heavyweight production
tubing in sweet to severely corrosive environments. A range of nipple bore sizes
is available.
Hydraulic landing nipple packoffs are available to protect the polished bores of
the nipples. They prevent debris from entering the hydraulic control line during
installation or routine service. The nipple packoff seals the polished bore and
isolates the hydraulic control line port from wellbore debris.
The B-series hydraulic nipple is installed at the desired location and run with the
well completion. It is retrieved when the completion string is pulled.
Working pressures: Up to 10,000 psi [69 MPa]
