Input parameters include casing, cement, and rock properties; wellbore geometry (orientation and up to five concentric casing strings); and completion fluid characteristics. You can analyze skin as solely perforation skin or as the total skin effect.
API RP 19B Section 1 data is useful for comparing perforating system performance, but it doesn't accurately represent flow performance through rock formations in downhole environments.
