AquaWatcher Surface
Water salinity sensor
Continuously determine real-time inline salinity for wet gas and multiphase flow and eliminate manual sampling and analysis.
Vx Spectra surface multiphase flowmeter for accurate flow rate measurement and improved production testing
Reduces CO2e emissions up to 99.8% when replacing high- or low-bleed separators for well production metering.
The Vx Spectra™ surface multiphase flowmeter (MPFM) is our flagship SLB MPFM based on rugged Vx™ multiphase well testing technology. The Vx Spectra flowmeter delivers continuous, accurate, and repeatable measurements in a wide range of production environments—all the way to high-rate oil and wet gas wells. Using advanced full-gamma spectroscopy, our surface multiphase flowmeter accurately captures multiphase flow dynamics, so you can determine flow rates without the need for separation and get full visibility on your well performance.
The latest development in the Vx Spectra flowmeter portfolio features an innovative high-energy source design that can be retrofitted to any existing Vx Spectra flowmeter to significantly improve accuracy at high gas volume fraction (GVF). The introduction of this triple-energy source markedly improves the distinction between oil and water fractions, therefore reducing the error in water cut and consequently oil/water rates.
This modification enables a significant improvement in both liquid rates and water/liquid ratio at GVF greater than 95%, making it particularly appropriate for differentiating and measuring even the smallest amount of oil in unconventional wells and those with changing salinities, high water cut, and high GVF.
Connected solutions from SLB expand Vx Spectra flowmeter’s capabilities and change the way your data are delivered. Real-time connectivity consolidates all your meters into a single display, enabling live, remote decision making and proactive monitoring—for optimized production, uptime, and performance.
Proactively monitors meter health, well health, and even the status of your lift system.
Reduces manual intervention, crew size, and wellsite trips.
Increases meter uptime, assures performance, and optimizes scheduled maintenance.
Provides continuous, proactive production insights, optimizing recovery and ensuring targets are met.
