The Texas General Land Office is requesting proposals for the lease of land in the Brownsville, Matagorda, and Freeport areas of Texas, for the establishment and operation of one or more geologic carbon dioxide storage repositories under submerged land in the Miocene and Oligocene formations.

SLB is pleased to support your subsurface assessment efforts with multiclient seismic data that can enable capacity, injectivity, and containment assessments across the areas expected to be on offer. Comprehensive carbon storage studies are available for Galveston Bay, Matagorda Bay, and Corpus Christi Bay based on 3D seismic interpretation of target reservoir intervals, together with locally-derived models for reservoir quality (porosity-permeability), pressure, and CO2 density.

Get access to this data today, for a head start in understanding the subsurface potential and building a strong case supporting your proposal to the General Land Office in Texas. More details can be found below, or by visiting Energy Insights Gateway.
