WinGLink
Geophysical interpretation software
Process, interpret, and integrate several geophysical disciplines in a unique interpretation model.
Integrated EM, seismic, and other available oilfield measurements
We integrate electromagnetic (EM), seismic, and other available oilfield measurements within the overall E&P workflow to reduce the risk and increase confidence in subsurface interpretations. While seismic reflections mainly respond to density and porosity to give structure, EM is sensitive to pore-fluid resistivity and the resistivity of the rock matrix.
Our EM processing services can be combined with our industry-leading seismic services and other wellbore measurements. This integration—including the simultaneous joint inversion of seismic, gravity, and EM data—allows us to provide unrivaled EM capabilities.
By conducting a sensitivity analysis for your specific objective, you can establish the feasibility and the optimal parameters for a satisfactory EM survey. Using WinGLink software, we determine accurate and dependable assessments for your EM applications. Feasibility can be performed using simple 1D models, or using more precise 2D and 3D modeling taking into consideration anisotropy. Our advanced feasibility analysis even includes 3D inversion of synthetic data to determine whether the target can be successfully recovered after a survey.
We then finalize the survey design with you using the Petrel E&P software platform, which incorporates all other available G&G information, including seismic horizons and wells.
Using our land and marine EM operational experience as well as our state-of-the-art software, we provide a complete suite of data processing and QC. We also provide
Our 2D and 3D inversion algorithms are parallelized and optimized for solving large EM problems. They are fully anisotropic and can incorporate various types of constraints from available G&G data and the target characteristics.
Our seismic geobody-driven EM inversion workflow extracts geobodies from seismic amplitude cubes, upscales them into grids appropriate for EM inversion, and applies "masks" that focus the inversion process onto those areas.
These techniques introduce geophysical information and geological knowledge into the EM inversions to reduce the low resolution and non-uniqueness of EM data. Going a step further toward integrated interpretation, we also offer simultaneous joint inversion of EM, seismic, or gravity data, or all three. We use the Petrel platform for integration and also Omega geophysical data processing platform for seismic processing and simultaneous joint inversion.
We also offer training on nonseismic technologies and software that can be held at our centers or at your office.
