Dual-function polymer benefits logging operations

VeraTherm™ high-temperature water-based drilling fluid delivers stable performance at high temperatures with minimal treatment like oil-based mud. Its impressive dynamic stability ensures superb long-term static stability during critical operations such as tripping, logging, and casing running. VeraTherm fluid surpasses both formate and conventional synthetic-based polymer systems, demonstrating superior performance on every job.

VeraTherm fluid is adaptable to any conventional oilfield brines, including formate brine. It is suitable for a wide range of uses such as overburden drilling, coiled tubing drilling, geothermal drilling, and intervention fluid applications. Moreover, it can be customized as a reservoir drill-in fluid using acid-soluble bridging materials to minimize formation damage by depositing a thin, ultralow-permeability, and easy-to-clean filtercake on the face of the formation.

VeraTherm fluid contains fewer chemical additives and requires less mixing time than conventional high-temperature drilling fluids. Its primary chemical additive, VeraVis™ branched synthetic polymer viscosifier and fluid loss additive, disperses into the base brine and avoids forming fisheyes when introduced through a shearing hopper.
