Stabilizer Blocks
Rhino system stabilizer
Achieve concentric, stable points of contact in the enlarged hole section and increase lateral support.
Rhino integrated borehole enlargement system
The Rhino™ hydraulic underreamer is part of the Rhino integrated borehole enlargement system—a family of hydraulically actuated reamers that save rig time and bring production online faster by underreaming while drilling in a single run. The Rhino hydraulic underreamer reduces trip-out time, especially in swelling or unstable formations.
High-quality hole enlargement in demanding applications
Reliable hydraulic actuation and operation control
Tandem underreamer BHA with dual Rhino hydraulic underreamers
Application-specific cutter block configuration for improved ROP
The rugged, precision-engineered Rhino hydraulic underreamer features moving parts positioned farther from critical flow ports on the undergauge body for optimal flow. Hole enlargement results from cutter block actuation by drilling fluid flow. The fluid then exits the reamer through three fluid ports to improve cuttings removal. An optional integral stabilized body enables use during high ROP in high lateral-vibration applications.
From the AxeBlock™ torque-reducing ridged diamond element cutter block to stabilizer blocks, our industry-leading family of cutter blocks combine the best cutters with a dynamically stable design for the best performance in a variety of formations—all in a variety of BHA configurations.
