Reliably reinject produced fluids or inject fluids for EOR
The injection valve of the Peak Family™ flow control and well intervention tools plays a critical role in optimizing enhanced oil recovery (EOR) operations, such as waterflooding or chemical injection. Featuring a flapper-type design, the Peak Family injection valve controls the injection of water, chemicals, and produced fluids into the well, improving well pressure and hydrocarbon mobility.
Fluids are injected from the surface through the injection valve, opening the flapper that is held open by a sleeve to prevent the flapper “floating” due to pump pulsations. The injection valve can be suspended below industry-standard lock mandrels or SIM™ retrievable bridge plugs. This versatility enables the valve to be set at any required depth and in a wide range of operational situations.
Additionally, the Peak Family injection valve has the option to insert a carbide choke if necessary to control the injection rate and maintain the hold-open differential.
