Mechanical setting, permanent zonal isolation

The SIM™ permanent plug provides permanent zonal isolation without the need for explosives or hydraulic setting systems. Using only a conventional slickline toolstring, this premium cast-iron plug is ideal for a variety of applications, including zonal isolation in wells with multiple perforated zones, plug and abandonment (P&A) work, and zonal isolation during high-pressure pumping operations.

Its running outer diameter (OD) easily navigates through most common completion nipple profiles. Once in place, it expands to set in its designated tubing size and weight. This plug is installed and set using the patented SIM running tool, which can also deploy the SIMstandard™ retrievable bridge plug, Peak Family™ large-bore gauge hanger, and Peak Family leak detection tool.
