To ensure downhole success, full setup and compatibility testing of the casing exit system and lateral junction was performed in a workshop prior to drilling. The window was milled with a 7-in TrackMaster whipstock system, which uses a unique design for efficient installation and removal. The addition of the lateral branch was completed without incident and increased the well’s production by 100%.
