For the third consecutive year, SLB is recognized with a top score on the Disability:IN Disability Equality Index.
The Disability Equality Index is a benchmark based on culture, leadership, access, and employment practices. Companies earning 80 and above are recognized as a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.
“We are proud to feature in the Disability Equality Index for the United States for a third consecutive year,” says Carlos Sarmiento, Director, Diversity and Inclusion, SLB. “Being recognized again in the index is a testament to our culture of inclusion and our commitment to nurturing an environment where all our employees can thrive.”
SLB’s score of 90 reflects the company’s championing of diversity and inclusion initiatives such as the ThisAbility Network, an employee resource group that provides a community for employees with disabilities, long-term health conditions, or carer responsibilities to share experiences, gain support, and learn from each other.
"On the 10th anniversary of the Disability Equality Index, we’re extremely proud of the 542 national and international companies that are taking a proactive role in leading progress towards disability inclusion, setting a benchmark for others to follow,” said Jill Houghton, President and CEO of Disability:IN. “Their dedication to fostering inclusive workplaces not only attracts top talent but also drives innovation and creates sustainable performance in today's global market. Together, we are creating a future where everyone can contribute and thrive.”
